WHO WE ARE
Founded by Marcel Pagerie, Eugene Bamert, and Delbert Teter in September of 1945, Troop 34 received its first Charter in December of 1945 for the upcoming year. It's been serving the youth of Franklin Lakes and beyond for the past 76 years. We hope to continue to help our community one scout at a time.
WHAT WE DO
CAMPING
Troop 34 goes camping about 11 times each year. Each month of the Scouting Year we plan one camping trip and go on one final trip over the summer to camp NoBeBoSco!
MEETINGS
Each week Troop 34 has one meeting. Each meeting varies depending on what we plan to do. Most meetings consist of completing requirments to rank up, a fun-Scout based activity, and a game such as Dodge-Ball or Soccer.
LEADERSHIP AND PROGRESSION
Troop 34's Scouting program is all led by the Boy's active in the troop with help from the leaders. The goal of boy scouts is to immerse boys into an independant life preparing journey. Throughout this journey leads scouts through the different ranks of BSA, and eventually earning the rank of eagle scout.
